Report: Cape Wind Ends Quonset Lease Option Agreement
The energy company was leasing land in North Kingstown with the option to build.
Cape Wind has ended its lease option agreement with Quonset Business Park and has stopped making payments, Providence Business News reported.
Stephen J. King, managing director of Quonset Business Park, confirmed on Friday that the energy company ended its lease option for two sites in Quonset — a sign that the energy company is scaling back some of its operations after losing two energy contacts earlier this month.
