Services Scheduled for Crash Victim

Services for a have been scheduled for Friday, June 1.

Nineteen-year-old Jordan Nonnenmacher of Juniper Drive was a 2011 graduate of . Born in Warwick, he leaves behind parents Mario and Julie E. (Papa) Nonnenmacher and siblings Derek and Taylor Nonnenmacher. He was pursuing a career as a graphic designer, completing his first year of studies at CCRI.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. at Nardolillo Funeral Home (1111 Boston Neck Road in Narragansett), followed by a funeral service at 8 p.m. Interment will be private.

Nonnenmacher passed away early Sunday morning after succumbing to his injuries following a car accident on Hamilton Allenton Road. According to police, Nonnenmacher lost control of the car and went off the road, striking a tree in the area of 529 Hamilton Allenton Rd. .

Loved ones have created a memorial at the crash site. Two skateboards have been mounted to the tree in the shape of a cross. (If you plan to visit the site, please take the proper precautions as the road is narrow in that area and there are no shoulders to walk on or park.)
