Singers Wanted For PawSox Idol
Auditions are being held this weekend and in April for the competition.
PAWTUCKET – During the 2011 season the Pawtucket Red Sox will be hosting PawSox Idol. The promotion will run at every Friday home game through the 2011 season.
The team will be hosting auditions at two locations over the next few weeks. At the Warwick Mall on March 26, interested singers can perform from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will also host auditions at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket on April 8. The auditions for this event will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Audition information is available on the team's website, www.pawsox.com.
Contestants can sing any family friendly song in front of three judges. Contestants will have 60 to 90 seconds to audition and the top four from each try out location will be invited back to participate in the season long promotion.
