Son Charged in Father's Stabbing
A 23-year-old man was taken into custody after allegedly stabbing his father Tuesday night.

An altercation between a father and son sent one to the hospital and the other to the
Paul Omaiye, 23, was arrested and charged in the stabbing of his 53-year-old father Tuesday night around 7:36 p.m. When police arrived at the residence at 105 Pine River Drive, where both men live, they found Omaiye's father with several stab wounds to the face and upper body.
The man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by the North Kingstown Fire Department where he was treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.

Omaiye struggled with police during his arrest and was brought into custody on charges of felony assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
