Suspects Rob Local Home at Gunpoint, Destroy Phones to Ensure Getaway

South Kingstown police are looking for two suspects.

South Kingstown police said two men robbed a Mooresfield Road home at gunpoint Sunday morning.

The suspects tied up a man and a woman during the robbery then destroyed their phones so they couldn’t immediately contact authorities, police said.

The man was able to free himself and contact police. The woman was treated at South County Hospital and released.

The suspects were described as Hispanic.

Lt. Michael Natale said detectives are investigating.
