Talent Is In The Air
Wickford Middle School rocked the NKHS auditorium Friday night.
took the stage Friday night with fresh new talent rocking the stage. But, this year’s variety show was more than just an opportunity for the talented Wildcats to strut their stuff. .
The talent show was also raising funds to send the school's Science Olympians to Wisconsin to compete in the 27th National Olympians Tournament on May 18 through May 20. Last month, the team won the Rhode Island Science Olympiad, becoming the first team from North Kingstown to do so. Now, they head to Wisconsin where they will compete against more than 7,000 students from across the country.

The two-and-a-half hour show included acts with dancing, singing and even a little Irish Step dancing.
Dan and Martin Cook opened the first act alongside Anna Revia, Danielle Garrapy and Macie Land with “Adventure Time.”

James Wilson was on drums for the third act followed by Molly McKay sang “We Go Together.”
All and all, the two-part show went off without a hitch. After a short intermission The Wickford Guitar Ensemble took center stage with special guest Bill Dwyer.
Twenty-nine acts in all Olivia Baxter and Molly McKay danced to “Bang a Drum” the crowd gave a standing ovation.
Sean Nagle and Alex Saddler closed the show with “Don’t Stop Beleiving.”
