Tea Party Express Stops in N. Kingstown [VIDEO]
Rain failed to deter the Tea Party Express and crowd from overtaking Wilson Park Wednesday morning.
Armed with umbrellas and patriotic garb, more than 150 Tea Party supporters hit the soggy grass and puddle-ridden pavement of Wilson Park to catch the Tea Party Express as it stopped in Rhode Island.
The pair of buses rolled into the parking lot just around 11:30 a.m., along with another vehicle carrying Tea Party member Sharron Angle. Angle, who narrowly lost to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid last fall for the congressional seat in Nevada, spoke to the crowd about the Tea Party ideals and her background.
Angle got involved with politics after a judge told her she could not home-school her child. She then went on to serve on her town's school board and became a state lawmaker before her congressional bid. She urged members of the crowd to get involved at the precinct level.

Angle also had a message for Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) who publicly said the Tea Party could "go to hell" last month.
"She said the Tea Party can go to hell, but we really have no interest in visiting her district," said Angle, which prompted applause and cheers from the crowd.

Angle also spoke of her recently formed political action committee (PAC) set on ousting Democratic senators.
