 “Is this your typical lineup?”

Yes. There are a few musicians that we can call upon that play keyboards and percussion. For the most part, our band is playing in a tight space, so the 4 musician sets work really work.

“How long have you been together?”

Since 2009. We put out a demo that served as our sort of resume to local bars and restaurants and we’ve been together ever since.

“How would you characterize your style of play?”

We are a cover band essentially. If you look at our event posters, that says it all - “A Folk Rockin’ Good Time! Our music is folk rock, party and wedding music that makes kids and adults laugh, dance, and relax.

 “Who are your musical influences?”

Bob Dylan for sure. Richard Thompson, Greg Brown we really respect those musicians. A lot of our fan base know how much we love Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. Those guys always sound amazing.

“Who are you listening to now?”

Band of Heathens, Avett Brothers, of course Bob Dylan, mostly bands that play within our genre. Other than that, not really interested in the majority of the current music scene.

“What is your connection, if any, to Wickford?”

We started practicing at my home on Ten Rod Rd. The name came to us after drinks and good times out with friends. It just really fit who were are as a group and our roots here in Wickford.

“What has your experience been like doing the Tuesday Night Music Series?”

It has been a great experience for the band and our families. This is our 4th year performing. We couldn’t be happier to be a part of this event. Actually we got to play twice last year and were more than willing to pitch in for another band who couldn’t make their gig.

“What can fans expect at your Tuesday Night Music Series appearance?”

Simply put, A Folk-Rockin’ Good Time!

“Anything you would like to promote?”

Yes, we have a CD title “10 for 10” that is available for purchase on-line. From everyone in the band, we hope that you come join us to kick off the Tuesday Night Music Series.

For more information on the Ten Rod Ramblers band, you can visit the official website of the Tuesday Night Music Series at  www.wickfordmusicseries.com. On this site, you will see a bio of the band, upcoming concert appearances, video of the band, as well as music samples.
