Wickford Middle School Raises $4,443 for NK Food Pantry

Kudos are in order for the students and staff at Wickford Elementary School.

Their annual turkey trot raised $4,443.83 for the North Kingstown Food Pantry.

It’s the most money ever raised by the annual Turkey Trot, the food pantry said on its website.

The food pantry, located at the Little Red School House at 445 School Street, provided emergency food assistance to local families and demand is especially great this time of year. Many families struggle to keep food on the shelves, let alone presents under the tree.
