Convicted Counterfeiter Wanted On Warrant Caught During Providence Traffic Stop: Cops
The Pawtucket man was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Pawtucket man wanted on a federal warrant was apprehended during a traffic stop in Providence, police said.
Hugh Martin, 38, was pulled over on Interstate 95 shortly before 10 p.m. and arrested on a warrant charging him with violating his probation in a counterfeiting case, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"Martin was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment at the Sixth Division District Court," the release said.
