• R.I. officials are trying to get rid of bedbugs in state offices. Union workers say they're not doing enough. (bostonglobe.com) — State officials have shut Pawtucket's DHS office and kept staff remote after finding live bedbugs, while unions argue Rhode Island isn't moving fast or transparently enough to protect workers and clients. With other DHS locations in Providence and Woonsocket also affected or treated, the state is rolling out inspections and treatments across all offices, but employees fear bringing bedbugs home and want stronger action. 
• No. 25/21 Football Bests Brown in Pawtucket, 14-10 (gocrimson.com) — A nationally ranked Harvard football team edged Brown 14–10 Friday night at Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, giving local fans a close Ivy League showdown in their own backyard. Strong performances from Harvard's quarterback and a record-tying three-interception night on defense sealed the win, as Brown's late comeback fell just short in front of Pawtucket spectators.
