Pawtucket Man Wanted On Gun Charges In Massachusetts Apprehended: Cops
The Pawtucket man was a fugitive from justice from Massachusetts, police said.
PAWTUCKET, RI —A Pawtucket man wanted on gun charges in Massachusetts was apprehended, police said.
Chajiani Villanueva, 20, was arrested about 6 a.m. Friday by the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force, the state police said in a media release.

Villanueva was a fugitive from justice from Massachusetts, the release said.

Villanueva was wanted on charges of possession of a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm, discharging within 500 feet of a building and possession of ammunition without a Firearms Identification Card card, according to the release.

"The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force," the release said. "Mr. Villanueva was taken into custody without incident, transported, and turned over to members of the Pawtucket Police Department on scene."
