Portsmouth Resident Joins Abbey Girls' Hockey 100-Point Club

Casey Brown '12 and the Portsmouth Abbey girls' hockey team will play in the first round of EIL playoffs on Wednesday, Feb. 22.

Portsmouth resident Casey Brown '12 became just the third girls' hockey player in Portsmouth Abbey School history to notch 100 career points during the Ravens' 7-2 win over Worcester Academy on February 4. Casey was responsible for five of the Ravens' seven tallies and assisted on another.

Brown entered the game two points shy of the mark and scored an unassisted goal just 40 seconds into the first period to give her 99 career points. With six minutes remaining in the first, the Sixth Former fed Sarah Sienkiewicz '13 to log an assist and her 100th point.

The other members of the Portsmouth Abbey girls' hockey 100-Point Club are Kate McBride '00 (110 points) and Amanda McDonnell '05 (108 points).
