• Police: Driver clocked at 83 mph in left turn lane (eastbayri.com) — Portsmouth police recently charged a Middletown driver with reckless driving after clocking him at 83 mph in a 45 mph zone while passing cars in the left-turn lane on West Main Road. Officers also made two Route 24 and West Main Road stops that led to charges for driving on a suspended foreign license and first-offense DUI.
