Portsmouth Fire Crews Assist at Saturday House Fire in Tiverton
There was a large, two-alarm fire at a residence on Seapowet Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
A two-alarm fire sounded for a residence near the intersection of Seapowet Avenue and Little Harbor Road in Tiverton at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
Nearby residents sent in photos of the fire, and one mentioned that and several area fire departments responded. The Portsmouth Fire Department was called for assistance and helped battle the blaze at the scene.
According to Fire Chief Robert Lloyd, the cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Tiverton fire marshal.
