3 Providence Men Jailed On Drug Charges: Cops
The three men were arrested by the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — Three Providence men were jailed after they were arrested by the Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, police said.

Jose Santiago Torres, 53, Jesus Carreras Castro, 43, and Joewie Laboy, 48, were arrested Tuesday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Santiago Torres was charged with delivery of fentanyl to a police officer, possession with the intent to deliver fentanyl to a police officer, delivery of cocaine to a police officer, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine to a police officer, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, possession With the intent to deliver fentany, and controlled substance conspiracy, the release said.

The three men were processed at the Lincoln Barracks and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions Intake Center, the release said.
