Thousands of carved pumpkins, a playful pun-filled theme, and timed evening hours make this a major seasonal attraction, with advance online tickets required and different prices for weekday and weekend visits.

Providence announces winter electricity rates for the Community Electricity program (turnto10.com) β Providence has set new winter electricity supply rates for its Community Electricity program, slightly undercutting Rhode Island Energy's default rate while adding extra local renewable power. Starting with November meter reads, residents will see higher supply prices but also receive state-backed bill credits and possible low-income discounts, which officials say should keep most winter bills at or below summer levels. Residents and businesses can change plans or opt out anytime without penalties.
