Providence Man Arrested On Gun Charges: Cops

WEST GREENWICH, RI — A Providence man was arrested on gun charges during a traffic stop Wednesday, police said.

Darniel Polanco Cortorreal, 21, was pulled over on Interstate 95 in West Greenwich shortly before noon and arrested on charges of license or permit required for carrying a pistol and large capacity feeding devices prohibited, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Polanco Cortorreal was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and taken to Third District Court for an arraignment, according to the release.
