Providence Pair Pinched On Gun, Drug Charges And Conspiracy Charges: Police
The two men were arrested by Drug Enforcement Administration Agents and the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — Two Providence men were arrested on gun, drug and conspiracy charges, police said.
Michael Williams, 35, and Troy Johnson, 28, were arrested Wednesday by Drug Enforcement Administration Agents and the Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, the state police said in a media release.
Williams and Johnson were charged with possession with the intent to deliver fentanyl, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, controlled substance conspiracy and possession of a firearm while committing a controlled substance violation, according to the release.

Williams and Johnson were processed at the Lincoln Barracks, arraigned and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions Intake Center pending their arraignments in Sixth District Court.
