Woonsocket Man Charged With Robbery, Intent To Manufacture Nabbed In Traffic Stop: Cops
The Woonsocket man was wanted for failing to appear in court, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A wanted Woonsocket man charged with robbery and intent to manufacture was nabbed during a traffic stop, police said.
Marlon Maloney, 33, was pulled over and arrested about 3:30 a.m. Saturday on Smithfield Avenue in Providence, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Maloney was wanted on charges of failing to appear in court for possession with intent to manufacture and second-degree robbery cases, the release said.

The possession with intent to manufacture charge was in connection with a Pawtucket Police Department case and the robbery charge was in connection with a Providence Police Department case, according to the release.
"Maloney was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution — Men's Intake Center," the release said.
