Brooklyn Man Charged With Transporting Unstamped Smokes Through Richmond: Cops

RICHMOND, RI — A Brooklyn man was charged with transporting unstamped cigarettes through Rhode Island, police said.

Yongxiang Wu, 32, was pulled over and arrested shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 95 in Richmond, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Wu was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a court date, according to police.
