Notice is hereby given that the Richmond Town Council will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING at the Town Hall on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. on proposed amendment to Title 5 of the Richmond Code of Ordinances. The amendment would add a chapter to Title 5 called “Mobile Food Establishments.” The chapter would provide for municipal registration of food trucks and would regulate their operation.

This hearing will take place in Town Council Chambers, 5 Richmond Townhouse Road, Richmond, RI 02898; however the public can also observe and participate in the meeting remotely broadcasted on Zoom. The public is invited to observe and participate in the deliberations of this meeting by accessing the meeting link below. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard on the proposed amendments at the public hearing. The proposed amendments may be altered or amended during the public hearing, without further advertising, as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the public hearing. Any such alteration or amendment will be presented for comment during the public hearing.

Interested parties may obtain copies of the proposed amendments by contacting the Richmond Town Clerk's Office by telephone (401-539-9000, ext. 9) or email (townclerk@richmondri.com) between 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays.
