RICHMOND COMPREHENISEVE COMMUNITY PLAN
 Notice is hereby given of a public hearing before the Town Council on the adoption of updates to the Richmond Comprehensive Community Plan pursuant to the provisions of Title 45, Chapter 22.2 of the Rhode Island General Laws.Â
Pursuant to Gov. Gina Raimondo’s Executive Order # 20-05, the public hearing will take place during a meeting remotely broadcast on Zoom on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. The link to the meeting will be available on the Secretary of State’s open meetings database and on the Town of Richmond website (www.richmondri.com) at least 48 hours before the meeting. Â
All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard on the proposed updates to the Richmond Comprehensive Community Plan at the public hearing. The proposed updates may be altered or amended during the public hearing, without further advertising, as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the public hearing. Any such alteration or amendment will be presented for comment during the public hearing.Â
Interested parties may review a copy of the proposed updated Richmond Comprehensive Community Plan by contacting the Richmond Town Clerk's Office by telephone (401-539-9000, ext. 9) or email (townclerk@richmondri.com) between 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. The draft Richmond Comprehensive Community may also be viewed at the Town of Richmond’s website at http://www.richmondri.com.Â
Any person with sensory impairments who will require auxiliary aid during the public hearing must notify the Town Clerk at least 48 hours before the hearing by calling 401-539-9000, ext. 9.Â
If communication assistance (readers/interpreters/captions) or any other accommodation is needed to ensure equal participation, please contact the Town Clerk’s Office at least three (3) business days prior to the meeting at (401) 539-9000 ext. 9. For those persons needing auxiliary aid, please call 711 for assistance.
