• Hope Man Charged With Stealing More Than $10,000 in Property and Accessing a Computer for Fraud After Surrendering to Rhode Island State Police Friday (centralrecorder.com) — Rhode Island State Police say a Hope man surrendered at the Scituate Barracks Friday and now faces charges of obtaining over $10,000 in property under false pretenses and fraudulent computer access. Details on victims and evidence remain sealed, but the case has moved into the courts after his arraignment and assignment of a future court date.
