Scituate Man Charged With Check Kiting: Cops

The Scituate man was arrested by the financial crimes unit, police said.

SCITUATE, RI — A Scituate man was charged with check kiting, police said.

Marc D'Aguanno, 48, was also charged with laundering of monetary instruments, bank fraud and conspiracy, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

D'Aguanno was arrested Tuesday by the state police financial crimes unit, the release said.

D'Aguanno was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with an court date, according to police.
