North Kingstown Stolen Car Possessors Collared After Smithfield Crash: Cops
One of the two men was treated at the hospital for injuries he suffered in the crash, police said.
SMITHFIELD, RI — Two North Kingstown men were charged with possessing a stolen motor vehicle after crashing in Smithfield, police said.
Nathan King, 19, and Keigan Church, 18, were arrested shortly after 7 a.m. Thursday on charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
King and Church were arrested after a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 295 and a subsequent crash on Putnam Pike in Smithfield, according to the release.

King was treated at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence for injuries he sustained in the crash, the release said.
King and Church were processed at state police headquarters and arraigned in Third District Court, according to the release.
