• WNBA star shares racist text, alleged sender suspended from job (thecomeback.com) — A Smithfield-based company, Acclaro Medical, has suspended an employee while it investigates an allegedly racist text message sent to WNBA player Dearica Hamby. The incident, which went viral after Hamby shared a screenshot, has drawn national attention to fan harassment of athletes and put a local employer's response under scrutiny.
