On Thursday, November 10th, 2016, Brookdale Sakonnet Bay partnered with the Tiverton Police Department to host a Veterans Breakfast for the veterans of Brookdale Sakonnet Bay, as well as the veterans living in the Tiverton community. They enjoyed a fresh breafkast, prepared by Brookdale Sakonnet Bay's Director of Dining, Patricia Brum. Guests were treated to pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, muffins and a juice bar. Tiverton Police Chief Blakey and the entire Tiverton Police Department honored our veterans with veterans pins and certificates for their duties and dedications to our country. Chief Blakey and many of his officers gave speeches to our veterans, some of them speaking on their own military duties as well. Officer Ayers recently returned from a tour of Afghanistan and shared his experience with our veterans, who in return, shared their own experiences as well.
