Being able to offer affordable, high quality performing arts events to the greater community is a key part of Sandywoods' overall mission, Smith said, adding the SCA was specifically constructed so that it could function not only as a space for meetings, parties, and other events, but also as a venue for concerts, poetry slams, live theater, and dance.

Since Sandywoods Farm, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Smith said all revenue generated by the concerts gets plowed back into Sandywoods' mission of creating and managing a wide range of arts and agricultural programming to benefit both the residents of Sandywoods and all Tivertonians.
