Aztec Two-Step 40th Anniversary Concert

Common Fence Music kicks off their 19th Season with a special 40th Anniversary Concert celebration by venerable folk/rock duo Aztec Two-Step.

Aztec Two-Step's name comes from a Lawrence Ferlinghetti poem, and since 1971 Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman have been writing and performing songs that helped make their generation's musical memories. The recording from their self-titled debut album (Elektra Records), The Persecution and Restoration of Dean Moriarty was the first song written about Jack Kerouac's iconic American novel, "On The Road."

Aztec Two-Step continues to impress audiences with intelligent songwriting, dazzling acoustic lead guitar, and inspiring harmonies, and remains one of acoustic music’s most popular and enduring acts.
