Farmer's Market at Tiverton Four Corners

The Sakonnet Growers Association Farmer’s Market will be opening at Tiverton Four Corners on Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 9am to 1pm.    The market will be open each Saturday morning throughout the summer and fall until October 1.  The market will be held adjacent to the Soule-Seabury House where the Garden Festival has been held.

This year the Sakonnet Growers Association has decided to relocate from the field at Pardon Gray to Tiverton Four Corners with the hope of creating more synergy with the artist studios and shops at the Four Corners.

This process required obtaining a special permit from the Tiverton Zoning Board since the current ordinance doesn’t permit famers to sell their produce within the Village Commercial zone.
