The Laramie Project is the result of more than 200 interviews done in the community of Laramie, Wyoming, following the October 1998 beating death of a 21-year-old gay college student. The reactions to this hate crime are varied, and this theatrical collage project shows the depths to which humanity can sink and the heights of compassion of which we are capable.
