Winter Film Series: “Aguirre: Wrath of God”

The Four Corners Arts Center presents “Aguirre: Wrath of God” as part of its ongoing Winter Film Series at The Meeting House. “Aquirre: Wrath of God” is a 1972 German film by Werner Herzog  that tells the story of the ruthless and insane Spanish soldier Aguirre, played by Klaus Kinski, as he leads conquistadors along the Amazon river in search of the legendary city of gold, El Dorado. It has been declared one of the “All Time Best 100 Films” by Time Magazine and in the 1970s inspired an international cult film following.
