Little Compton Artist Partners With Rhode Island Nature Conservancy
Little Compton artist Kris Donovan will be donating a percentage of her painting sales over the next two months to the Nature Conservancy and the Dundery Brook Greenway Trail project.
Little Compton painter Kris Donovan, of Donovan Studio, has announced she will be donating painting sales throughout July and August to go toward the project and the Rhode Island Nature Conservancy.
Announcing to donate 10 percent of all painting sales during that time frame, Donovan said the gift will help fund building the new 1.3-mile long Dundery Brook Greenway Trail, a unique boardwalk path through a forested wetland in Little Compton.
The trail is a project of The Nature
Conservancy of Rhode Island and Donovan said that thanks to a generous matching grant all gifts will be doubled.
