Little Compton Police Log: Man Comes Home to Find Faucet On and Yard Flooded

Also, police said a report of arrows being shot at a house was actually mental health related.

The following incidents were reported by the Little Compton Police Department:

On Aug. 26, police charged a 45-year-old Dartmouth, Mass., man for driving with an expired license. He was summonsed to appear in District Court.

On Aug. 27 at 4 p.m., a Long Highway resident told police that he came home to find his outside faucet was on and his yard was flooded.

On Aug. 28 at 1:54 p.m., an Old Stone Church Road resident reported receiving harassing phone calls. The matter was investigated.

On Aug. 28, at 9:12 p.m., a Moorings Way resident told police there was an unwanted person in his house. Police arrived and the person in question had left, police said.

On Aug. 29 at 9:12 a.m., an Austin Lane woman said someone threw a bottle at her car window sometime overnight. A report was filed.

On Aug. 29 at 4:06 p.m., a Minnesota Road resident turned in keys found lying in the street. Police returned the keys to the owner later in the day.

On Aug. 30, police responded to a Brownell Road residence for a report of arrows being shot at the house. Police soon learned that the issue was mental health related.
