Scout Troop 29 to Welcome Three New Eagle Scouts
Three young men from Tiverton and Little Compton will achieve the rank of Eagle Scout at a Court of Honor this Wednesday.
John Donahue and Ben Lusignan, both Seniors at Tiverton High School, and Ben Wilson, a recent graduate of Portsmouth Abby have recently completed the requirements for Eagle Scout. All three young men are members of Little Compton Boy Scout Troop 29 and passed their Eagle Board of Review this spring. On Wednesday, August 12 they will receive their Eagle rank during an Eagle Court of Honor. This ceremony will be held at the Little Compton Game Club on John Dyer Road. Along with their award the new Eagle Scouts will also receive proclamations from Congressman David Cicillini’s office and the towns of Little Compton and Tiverton. The proclamation from the town of Little Compton will be presented by Town Council President Robert Mushen and Tiverton will be represented by Town Council President Denise deMedeiros.
