Senior Diners: Dine Out for Less

Restaurant Vouchers Offered for Seniors

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) has restaurant vouchers available for purchase through its East Bay Café Program, formerly known as the Ocean State Senior Dining Program.  The Senior Restaurant Program offers vouchers to both the IHOP Restaurant, located at 159 West Main Road, Middletown, RI and the Newport Creamery, located at 296 County Road, Barrington, RI.

The EBCAP Senior Restaurant Program is open to individuals 60 years of age or older.  Vouchers for the program, which must be obtained prior to dining, are available at the Edward King House Senior Enrichment Center at 35 King Street, Newport, RI; the Barrington Café at 281 County Road, Barrington, RI; the Warren Café at 20 Libby Lane, Warren, RI; or at EBCAP at 100 Bullocks Point Ave., East Providence, RI.  A donation of $5 is suggested.

Vouchers for IHOP in Middletown are redeemable 7 am- 10:30 am and 4:30 pm- 8 pm, 7 days per week; vouchers for the Newport Creamery in Barrington are redeemable Monday - Friday, 7 am - 11 am and 4 pm - 8 pm.  Diners may select from a limited menu of nutritionally balanced entrees at both sites.
