WARWICK, RI — A man taken into custody following the stabbing of a man and woman Monday afternoon was charged with an array of offenses, including domestic kidnapping and vandalism, police said.

Caleb Brown, 29, was also charged with domestic breaking and antering a dwelling when a resident is present,
domestic failure to relinquish a telephone, weapons other than
firearms prohibited, domestic disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct, the Warwick Police Department said in a media release.

Brown was taken into custody following the knife attack shortly 3:30 p.m., according to the release.
Officers called to Ottawa Avenue found a man and woman with stab wounds, the release said.

The man had been stabbed in the neck and the woman in the abdomen, according to the release.
"Officers immediately rendered life-saving aid to the victims while awaiting the arrival of Warwick Fire personnel," the release said.

"Preliminary investigation indicates the incident stems from an ongoing domestic situation," according to the release.
