Wanted MA Man Jailed After Warwick Traffic Stop: Cops

WARWICK, RI — A wanted Massachusetts man was captured and jailed following a traffic stop in Warwick, police said.

Luis Carela Carty, 34,was pulled over and arrested about 2:15 a.m. Monday on Interstate 95, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Carela Carty, a Fall River resident, was arrested on a warrant charging him with failing to appear in court for a operation under foreign license case, according to the release.

Carela Carty was processed at the Wickford Barracks and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center, the release said.
