Providence Man Wanted On Larceny, Embezzlement And Fraud Charges Nabbed: Cops

WARWICK, RI — A Providence man wanted on charges of larceny and embezzlement and fraud was apprehended, police said.

Shawn Thompson, 36, was pulled over on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick shortly before 3:45 p.m. Tuesday and arrested on warrant, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Thompson was wanted in connection with a Pawtucket Police Department case, according to the release.

"Mr. Thompson was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department," the release said.
