MA Man Charged With Obtaining Property By False Pretenses: Police
He was investigated by the Financial Crimes Unit, police said.
WARWICK, RI — A Massachusetts man was charged with obtaining property by false pretenses and giving false documents to a public official, police said.
Luciano Oliveira, 51, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Oliveira, a resident of Milford, was investigated by the state police Financial Crimes Unit and arrested by detectives in Warwick, the release said.

Oliveira was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned by a justice of the peace Crawford and released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond, according to police.
