Man Charged With Hit-And-Run Crash Tracked Down By East Providence Police: Cops

The crash was investigated by the state police, according to police.

WARWICK, RI — A Warwick man wanted in connection with a hit-and-run crash was located and arrested by the East Providence police, the Rhode Island State Police said.

David Stridel, 63, was arrested about 2 a.m. Friday, the state police said in a media release.

Stridel was charged with duty to stop for an accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle, the release said.

Stridel was processed at state police headquarters and held overnight pending a morning arraignment, according to the release.
