Warwick Man Possessed Child Pornography: Police

The Warwick man was ordered to have no unsupervised contact with minors and restricted internet access.

WARWICK, RI — A Warwick man was charged with possessing child pornography, police said.

Paul Erickson, 61, was arrested Feb. 19 by the Rhode Island State Police Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the state police said in a media release.

"Mr. Erickson was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and transported to Third District Court," the release said.

Erickson was arraigned and released on a $5,000 bail with "surety and special conditions of no unsupervised contact with minors and restricted internet access," according to the release.
