• RI fugitive convicted of sexual assault to be sentenced this fall (wpri.com) — A former Rhode Island anesthesiologist convicted of sexually assaulting a Westerly woman aboard his yacht will finally be sentenced on Nov. 2, after spending two decades as a fugitive. He was captured in July off New Jersey and now faces up to life in prison, alongside additional charges related to his long flight from prosecution.
