• Ball python recovering after rescue from vehicle engine in West Warwick (coastalabc.com) — A loose ball python was discovered trapped in a vehicle engine after traveling to a West Warwick store, and is now recovering thanks to extensive veterinary care arranged by a local reptile shop. Staff and customers spent nearly an hour freeing the injured snake, which had likely survived outside for weeks. The shop is urging residents to rehome exotic pets responsibly instead of releasing them outdoors.
