• Shots Fired In West Warwick: Cops (patch.com) — West Warwick police are investigating gunshots reported overnight on Ottawa Street, where officers found shell casings but no injuries or property damage. With assistance from Coventry police and Rhode Island State Police, detectives are canvassing the area, and residents are urged to share any information, anonymously if they wish, with the West Warwick Detective Division. 
• West Warwick bridge blocked off as police, ATF respond (wpri.com) — Main Street in West Warwick is currently swarmed by police, ATF, and a bomb squad, with the bridge over the Pawtuxet River between West Warwick and Legris avenues shut down and nearby roads backed up. A local resident reported pulling up what looked like a large military shell while magnet fishing and immediately called police. Expect traffic delays in the area while authorities investigate.
• Shortchanged RIPTA Flexes On Demand (ecori.org) — RIPTA's Flex On Demand microtransit service offers $2 curb-to-curb rides in several zones, including a West Warwick/Coventry area that could benefit local residents without cars.
