West Warwick Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography: Police
The West Warwick man was arrested by the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, police said.
WEST WARWICK, RI — A West Warwick man was charged with possession of child pornography, police said.
Michael Shaffer, 49, was arrested Friday by the Rhode Island State Police Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the state police said in a media release.
Shaffer was processed at the Wickford Barracks and arraigned in Third District Court, the release said.

Shaffer was released on his own recognizance "with special conditions of no unsupervised contact with minors and restricted internet access," according to police.
