Believing in America: Tone Set in GOP Speeches

Tampa was the setting as the 2012 GOP Nominating Convention opened with a series of speeches from rank and file members, small business owners impacted by the failed policies of the Obama/Biden administration and elected officials.  The main speakers were the candidate's wife Ann Romney whose remarks spoke of love, hers for her husband of 43 years, and his for their family, faith and America.  Mrs. Romney was followed by the governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie.  

I believed Mrs. Romney did a great job in humanizing the public personna of her husband....classy and believeable.

Mr. Christie spoke of his own family and life experiences and his support for Romney.

Wednesday, schedule features the acceptance speech of VP-nominee, Cong. Paul Ryan (R-WI).
