Fake IDs can lead to trouble for local businesses; learn to recognize them
The Woonsocket Prevention Coalition (WPC) is facilitating a fake ID training to help local Woonsocket establishments that sell or serve alcohol or tobacco products recognize fake ID's.

As an ongoing community service to strengthen the cooperation among all llocal Alcohol Vendors, Liquor License and Tobacco License holers, the Woonsocket Prevention Coalition (WPC) will be facilitating a fake ID training on Tuesday, March 19 from 4-6 p.m.
The WPC invites owners, managers and staff members of local Woonsocket establishments that sell or serve alcohol or tobacco products to this free training conducted by Officer Kevin Parsonage from the Newport Police Department at the Broaster House, 263 Pond St. in Woonsocket.
We are also offering a separate Responsible Beverage Server Certification Class for those who need to take or renew the required certification to serve or sell alcohol in the state of RI. The certification class will be held on Monday, April 8 at Ciro's Tavern On Cherry, 42 Cherry St. in Woonsocket from 6 - 9 p.m. The cost for this certification is $25 per person. Members of the WPC's Not So Easy Campaign can send two staff members free of charge providing that they first attend the Fake ID training on March 19.
