Newport, RI...still the playground of the rich and famous
The rich and famous (or at least the rich) continue to enjoy the cache that is Newport.
Newport, RI....The economy in Rhode Island particularly is sputtering. The national economy is not much better despite the braying from the White House. Regardless, the sun is shining, the water is sparkling and the martinis are ice cold when yachts glide to their berths in Newport Harbor. This summer we have visited the "City by the Sea" several times and have caught sight of a few "big boys' and girls' toys." (Glad I'm not paying for the "fill up.")
